QR & NFC
Every Grapevine product gets a unique code. That link is how we prove ownership and make sharing effortless.
Per-item codes
Grapevine issues a specific QR code or NFC chip for each item—not per product type or per customer. So every physical unit is uniquely identified. When someone scans or taps, they are linked directly to that item and its owner, which powers the referral cycle and rewards.
Proof of ownership
Because each code is tied to a single item and registered to an owner, Grapevine can verify who owns what. That supports authentic sharing, prevents misuse, and ensures rewards go to the right people. Buyers register their product after purchase and then become the verified owner for that code.
Easy sharing
Sharing is a single scan or tap—no copying links, typing codes, or searching for product pages. The QR code or NFC chip on the item (or in packaging) takes the next person straight to the right place to learn more and buy. That simplicity is what makes the referral cycle repeat.
QR vs NFC
Both formats link an item to Grapevine; the choice depends on where and how you use them.
QR codes
Work on any phone camera, printable on labels or packaging, and easy to add to digital content. Best when the code is visible (e.g. hang tags, boxes, or screens).
NFC chips
Tap-to-read with compatible phones—no opening an app first. Good for embedded use (e.g. in products or durable tags) and in-person sharing where a quick tap is preferred.
